What we offer

Furnaces, done properly

High-efficiency gas furnaces

Condensing furnaces that turn far more of the gas you pay for into heat than older mid-efficiency units.

Proper sizing

Sized from your home and your energy history, so the furnace doesn't short-cycle or struggle on cold nights.

Hybrid-ready setups

A furnace that can pair with a heat pump later, or now, so gas only runs on the coldest days.

Removal & disposal

We take the old unit away and leave the utility room clean.

Who this is for

Is this right for your home?

  • Homes with a furnace 15 or more years old
  • Homeowners facing a repair quote on an ageing unit
  • Anyone planning a heat pump who wants a hybrid system
  • Homes with rooms that never heat evenly

Signs it's time

Worth a closer look if…

  • The furnace is 15 years old or more
  • Repairs are becoming a yearly event
  • Gas bills are rising faster than your usage
  • Some rooms are much colder than others
  • The burner flame is yellow rather than blue, or you notice soot
  • It runs in short, frequent bursts

Upgrade or stay put

What changes, and what doesn't

Real costs depend on your home, so we don't publish guesses. Your written package puts actual numbers on both options.

If you stay put

An older furnace keeps burning more gas for the same heat, repairs tend to arrive in the middle of winter, and parts for discontinued models get harder to find.

If you upgrade

A correctly sized high-efficiency furnace uses less gas for the same comfort, runs more quietly and evenly, and can later be paired with a heat pump.

Rebates & financing

Rebates for heating upgrades

  • Gas furnaces are not a listed upgrade in Ontario's Home Renovation Savings program.
  • Adding a cold-climate air-source heat pump alongside your furnace can qualify for up to $2,000 in a home heated with Enbridge natural gas, or up to $7,500 in a home heated with electricity, oil, propane or wood.
  • Attic insulation on its own can qualify for up to $1,250, with no home energy assessment needed.

Amounts as listed by the Home Renovation Savings program in September 2026. Eligibility rules apply, programs change, and the program administrator makes the final decision. Official sources: Save on Energy · Enbridge Gas

Financing

Spread the cost of your upgrade over time. Financing is available to qualifying customers, subject to lender approval and applicable terms, and is set out in your written package.

FAQ

Furnaces questions

More answers on the FAQ page, or ask during your consultation.

How long does a furnace replacement take?

Most straightforward replacements are finished in a day. Your written package confirms the schedule before any work starts.

Should I get a heat pump instead?

Sometimes, and sometimes both. A hybrid system uses a heat pump for most of the year and the furnace for the coldest days. We price the options side by side so you can compare.

Why does sizing matter so much?

An oversized furnace heats in short bursts, wears out sooner and leaves temperatures uneven. An undersized one runs constantly on cold days. Sizing from your home's real heat loss avoids both.

Do you remove the old furnace?

Yes. Removal and disposal of the old unit is part of the installation.
