No. Gas furnaces aren't a listed upgrade in Ontario's Home Renovation Savings program. A heat pump added alongside one can qualify for up to $2,000 in a home heated with Enbridge natural gas.
How long does installation take?
Most furnace replacements take one day, and next-day installation is available on most products, subject to availability and your location.

Up to $7,500 in homes heated with electricity, oil, propane or wood ($1,250 per ton), or up to $2,000 in homes heated with Enbridge natural gas ($500 per ton). Pre-approval is required before installation.
Will it keep my home warm in winter?
Cold-climate models are rated to keep heating down to about −30 °C. We size the system to your home's heat loss and plan backup heat for the coldest days.

For homes without ductwork, additions and hard-to-heat rooms. One outdoor unit can serve one or more indoor heads.
Only if the exact model is on Natural Resources Canada's qualified products list and it's installed with pre-approval. We check the model number before you commit.
Do I need ductwork?
No. Indoor heads mount on a wall or ceiling, and a small line set connects them to the outdoor unit.
